Cornish & Carey Commercial and CB Richard Ellis are representing Avalon at Mission Bay, an apartment community located in San Francisco, CA. The project comprises more than 550 luxury apartment homes and approximately 16,000 sq.ft. of retail space along King and 4th Street. The new development will take place in two phases and will incorporate a mix of buildings varying in height from two-story live-work lofts to 16 story luxury apartment towers. The apartment community is located on King Street, which has a projected daily traffic count of 127,000 vehicles. Area demographics include a population of 750,615 within six miles earning $72,481 as the average household income.

CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. is planning to develop Imperial Valley Mall, a 768,000 sq.ft. mall located in El Centro, CA. The company is developing the project with its joint venture partner, The MGHerring Group. CBL & Associates Properties will develop and manage the property, while The MGHerring Group will be responsible for the leasing of the mall, which is located on 157 acres at the intersection of State Route 31 and Chick Road, just south of Interstate 8. The mall will be anchored by Dillard’s, JCPenney, Robinsons-May and Sears. The mall also will include a 50,000 sq.ft. cinema and 210,000 sq.ft. of small shop space. Area demographics include a trade-area population of 1.25 million, including 1.1 million in Mexicali, Mexico.

Breslin Realty Development Corp. is preleasing an 850,000 sq.ft. lifestyle center located at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway and Interstate 495 in Brookhaven, NY with an average daily traffic count of 70,000 vehicles. The center is situated on a land area of 150 acres. Area demographics include a population of 86,902 within five miles earning $64,432 as the average household income. The City of Lathrop is developing Mossdale Landing, a proposed master-planned, mixed-use community located on the west side of Interstate 5 at Louise Avenue in Lathrop, CA. The project is situated on a land area of 477 acres. The project has 1,258 low density residential units, 333 medium density residential units, 177,700 sq.ft. of village commercial, 122 apartments and 483,000 sq.ft. of service commercial along Interstate 5.

Columbus Urban Growth Corp. is planning to develop Northland Park, a village-type development in the area currently occupied by Northland Mall in Columbus, OH. The company plans to include individual restaurants and retail buildings along Morse Road for 40,000 sq.ft. to 50,000 sq.ft. of retail, a small number of offices, a cluster of 150 to 300 condominiums in the center of the property, a large recreation center, a main boulevard entrance off of Morse Road, to relocate the police and fire stations at Karl and Morse Roads and reusing Northland’s movie theater as a performance theater for civic purposes.
