The Corky McMillin Cos. is developing the third phase of the walking promenade within the Liberty Station waterfront community in Point Loma, CA on the grounds of the former Naval Training Station. The latest phase is being built between the Liberty Station Office District and the proposed Liberty Station Marketplace project. It comprises 2.5 acres between Building 30 and Womble Road. Completion is slated for Summer 2006. This phase will feature expansive grassy areas with trees, lights, walking paths and benches. The entire walking promenade will eventually encompass 16.5 acres. One of the main features of the walking promenade is the Legacy Plaza, which will feature NTC Promenade’s commemorative bricks in honor of the community’s history and connection to the NTC. Liberty Station is situated on a land area of 361 acres.

Pace Properties, Inc. is developing The Boulevard-Saint Louis, a mixed-use development located in downtown St. Louis, MO. The center will be tenanted by Crate & Barrel, Jared The Galleria of Jewelry, Bombay/Bombay Kids, Ann Taylor Loft, Strasburg Children, Maggiano’s Little Italy and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. The center also will include 74 luxury apartments, a main street village, as well as a plaza with fountains and seating areas. The second phase of the center will include approximately 84,000 sq.ft. of retail and restaurant space, 250,000 sq.ft. of Class A office space, high-end housing units and apartments and the second of three public plazas. The third and final phase of the project is scheduled to be completed by 2008.

Centurion Partners is planning to develop Colonnade At King’s Grant, a center located on Speedway Boulevard in Concord, NC. Opening is slated for June. The center will include 20,000 sq.ft. of specialty retail and restaurants and amenities such as an outdoor pavilion, tree-lined walkways and water fountains. Area retail includes the Concord Mills Mall. The development will comprise three distinct buildings, two of which will be retail/restaurant space with unique open-air seating. The central, freestanding space will be occupied by an upscale barbeque and blues restaurant concept with two levels of outdoor terrace seating and live blues music entertainment.

O&S Holdings, LLC is preleasing Louisiana Riverwalk, a 550,000 sq.ft. center located in Bossier City, LA. The $150 million development will be tenanted by Hooters, Chico’s, Rascals Comedy Club, Adidas, Joe’s Crab Shack, Big Dogs Sportswear, Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Buffalo Wild Wings, Rack Room Shoes, Carter’s Childrenswear, Regal Cinemas, Cold Stone Creamery and  Rue 21. The center will be anchored by a 106,000 sq.ft. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. Opening is slated for the Spring. In addition to the shops and restaurants, the development will feature all types of entertainment, from movies and a comedy club to live theater, a dueling piano bar, a river promenade, dancing water fountains, a carousel and a trolley.

Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse is developing Brewers Hill, a historic renovation of two landmark breweries, the Gunther Brewery and the former National Brewery, in Baltimore, MD. The breweries are located in the heart of Baltimore’s revitalized Canton neighborhood, just one block from the waterfront. The project currently includes 737,000 sq.ft. of office and warehouse space on 27 acres. Plans for the project include transforming the existing block into a work, live and shop community with easy access to Baltimore’s waterfront.
