Arizona Gets Its First Taste of Fruits & Passion If you have ever been shopping in Canada, it is more than likely that you have come across one of the individual franchises known as Fruits & Passion. The 14-year-old Canadian lifestyle brand is located in every province in Canada and specializes in personal care products made with natural ingredients that are catered to men, women, children, your home and even your dog. But Canada isn’t the only market that this thriving company is trying to reach. Fruits & Passion started in 1992 and three years later opened its first unit in Montreal, Quebec. Today, Fruits & Passion operates more than 127 retail stores scattered across Canada, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, all of which offer customers an inviting escape amongst their soaps, lotions and shampoos. Interested shoppers throughout the U.S. can stop by either Pure Beauty, Nordstrom, Henri Bendel or Anthropologie to shop for Fruits & Passion products. The company sells more than 22 select collections, and the company retails its products to over 2,000 specialty and department stores across the country.
But what about Fruits & Passion having an actual retail store in the U.S.? As of March 7, the people of Scottsdale, AZ were able to shop at the company’s 700 sq.ft. store, which was situated between the high-end specialty shops, entertainment venues and restaurants at Kierland Commons. But according to the company, one store isn’t enough. Plans call for fifty openings throughout the country over the next three years. With the company’s massive success in Canada, as well as in Hong Kong, Kuwait, Mexico, Morocco, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines, there isn’t much doubt that Fruits & Passion will reach its goal. Even in the online world, the company is a success. In 1999, the company launched its first Web site, becoming one of Quebec’s first retailers to offer online shopping.
In Fruits & Passion’s international markets, the company develops its stores through master licenses issued to investors, giving them the exclusive development rights. The private Canadian company provides its licensees with a turnkey, including boutique design and construction, thematic promotions and product lines, leaving master franchisees free to devote all of their strengths to promoting the notions in their locations and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Fruits & Passion incorporates natural elements into its goods, allowing customers the opportunity to replenish with ingredients that were once considered edible. For instance, the Radiance collection is made with cranberry, pomegranate, pineapple and papaya to help stimulate skin cell regeneration and control redness. For children, there’s the Berri the Bear collection, which includes body lotion soap, massage oil and hair and body shampoo, while men can try either the Cortez or Ulysse personal care products, both including 100 percent vegetable soap. The company also offers anti-age products to help rejuvenate the skin’s repair and regeneration process, which are infused with kiwi extract for toning action and whole tomato extract for its antioxidant power. These products and more can be seen and ordered on www.fruits-passion.com .
