Centerville Properties, LLC is preleasing The Esplenade of Algonquin, a 27-acre, mixed-use development located in Algonquin, IL. The center will consist of 13 buildings, including four restaurant pads, a bank, three retail/office spaces, two first floor restaurants, a retail/medical/office space, a 12,500 sq.ft. single-story multi-tenant space and a 5,500 sq.ft. restaurant/retail space. Applied Development is planning to develop Pier Village, 100,000 sq.ft. of retail space located in Long Branch, NJ. The center is currently under construction and the first phase will consist of 320 luxury rental apartment units and over 100,000 sq.ft. of  restaurants, cafes, boutiques and specialty shops. The residential units will be surrounded by oceanfront parks and plazas, richly decorated landscaping and streetscapes, and a brand new boardwalk. Legend Properties, Inc. Commercial Real Estate is preleasing The Vineyards at Nassau Valley, an 82-acre mixed-use development with a GLA of 215,000 sq.ft. in Lewes, DE. The upscale development will include a hotel, fitness center, recreational pond, boardwalk and amphitheater located next to Delaware’s only vineyard. The center will include fashion apparel stores, accessory stores, furniture stores and entertainment sites. Over 27,000 new housing units are being proposed or under construction. Area demographics include a population of 126,797 within a 30-minute drive earning $60,099 as the average household income. Area retail includes Lowe’s Home Improvement, Home Depot, Food Lion, Super Fresh, Giant, Kmart, Wal*Mart and Staples.

The Richard E. Jacobs Group, Inc. is developing Cypress Creek Town Center, a 1.6 million sq.ft. regional center, with the elements of a power center and a lifestyle center, located at the intersection of Interstate 75 and State Road 56 in Pasco County, FL, north of Tampa. The centerpiece of a much larger planned community, Cypress Creek Town Center is scheduled to open next year. The center will be situated on a land area of 511 acres. The project will include approximately 600,000 sq.ft. of retail, 420,000 sq.ft. of office space, 630 apartments and 700 hotel rooms.

Forest City Development is planning to develop a 132-acre mixed-use center located at the intersection of North Dallas Tollway and the Virginia Parkway interchange in Frisco, TX.  The property will feature major retail anchors, entertainment venues, specialty stores and restaurants, as well as other mixed-use components. The company also is planning to develop NorthField at Stapleton, a one million sq.ft., outdoor center located in Denver, CO. Opening for that project is slated for October. The company also is developing San Francisco Centre in San Francisco, CA, the largest mall west of the Mississippi River. The center, developed in partnership with Westfield, lies in the heart of the city and will feature a flagship Bloomingdale’s store. The newly developed portion connects to the existing center and is slated to open during September.

Staubach Retail is preleasing The Landmark, a center located in Stamford, CT. The center will include 8,692 sq.ft. of street-level retail and 24,316 sq.ft. of lower level retail. Opening is slated for the fourth quarter of this year. The development will include dramatic exterior finishes and is located at the intersection of Atlantic and Broad Streets with direct access to Landmark Square, an 840,000 sq.ft. center, and Stamford Town Center, an 850,000 sq.ft. mall.
