Melt, a 1,000 sq.ft. specialty concept offering an array of handmade bath, body and skincare products, including bath oils, body wash, lotions, handmade soaps and products for the face and hair, with expansion taking place in CO, NV and TX.
West Elm, a 20,000 sq.ft. upscale home decor store, specializing in furniture, bedding, bath and home accessories, which is a concept of Williams-Sonoma, currently has 14 locations throughout CA, GA, IL, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX and VA. The company is seeking expansion opportunities throughout CO.
Modern Mexican Restaurants operates Maya and Tamayo, which specialize in modern Mexican cuisine, Pampano, which specializes in contemporary Mexican seafood and Zengo, a Latin-Asian fusion restaurant. These upscale, sophisticated restaurants run 7,000 sq.ft. in lifestyle centers with expansion taking place throughout CA, CO, FL, New York City and NV.
Audio Video Communication Store, a 2,000 sq.ft. high-end electronics store, seeking growth opportunities throughout FL. Takken Shoes, a 1,500 sq.ft. men’s, women’s and junior’s shoe store with 21 locations throughout CA is looking to expand its concept throughout the state.
The company also works with various landlords throughout the nation in targeting and consulting for prospective tenants. Shiloh is a proposed mixed-use residential/commercial project including residential condos, townhouses and 60,000 sq.ft. of commercial space located on 5.92 acres in Windsor, CA. The residential component will entail 104 condos, 56 townhouses and 14 townhouses; all but the 14 townhouses are designed under the concept of affordable housing. This project qualifies as one of the largest energy efficient, mixed-use affordable housing developments in CA. In the past five years, the company completed development ventures of entertainment centers, restaurants and retail stores at Fountain Walk in Novi, MI; Great Mall of the Bay Area in Milpitas, CA and Sacramento Country Club Plaza in Sacramento, CA.
The Zall Company also has several excess properties in its portfolio of representation. The Zall Company also partners with Retail Focus, a San Francisco-based shopping center advisory and consulting firm that provides shopping center owners tactics to develop and execute their real estate plans, Jeff Green Partners, a Mill Valley consulting firm specializing in feasibility and shopping center analysis, and with NAB Berkowitz, a Birmingham-based retail leasing and redevelopment consulting firm.
With over 20 years in the retail real estate leasing industry, Stuart F. Zall serves as the company’s president. Prior to founding The Zall Company, LLC, Stuart worked as vice president and director at Lord Associates. From Lord Associates, Zall came to The Taubman Company, where he worked as director of value retail leasing for six years. Serving as vice president for The Zall Company is Gerardo Aguinis, who has more than 16 years experience as senior manager for several multinational corporations in various industries. Mr. Aguinis was born and raised in Argentina. His bilingual and bicultural background allows him to act as a liaison to assist Hispanic retailers to expand in the U.S. market.
