I just received my first issue of
ESP. As an entertainment consultant that specializes in theme entertainment, I found lots
of information not available thru our normal channels of doing business. I also enjoyed
reading about one of my clients, Dave & Busters.
Keep up the good work.

Jerry: We intend to keep up the good work and have really exciting plans for future issues
of ESP. Keep reading and let us know what you think. Ann ONeal, publisher
Dear Ann:
We recently received a wonderful publication, ESP, for entertainment and specialty
projects from your offices.
Our company, Provenzano Resources, Inc. (PRI), is a specialty retail consulting firm that
concentrates on retail/entertainment/lifestyle projects. We work with developers, property
owners and managers to develop their common area and temporary in-line leasing programs.
We manage specialty retail programs on behalf of owners/managers, create new specialty
retail programs for projects under development, and work with more established projects on
their tenant mix.
Both Ross Provenzano and myself are actively involved in the specialty retail field
through ICSC Convention Planning Committee memberships, Specialty Retail Report Editorial
Board memberships, and more than 10 years of active involvement in this industry. PRI
feels strongly that to develop strong specialty retail programs and strong specialty
retailers is to lay the groundwork for the future of unique retail concepts. Many growing
national and regional retailers have come to us through the temporary tenant program and
many national tenants are deepening their involvement in temporary programs.
Retail/entertainment/specialty centers are the focal point for growth in specialty retail
and your magazine provides an opportunity to showcase this trend.Deborah S. Kravitz

Dear Tina: When we ran the article on Church Street Station in the August 1999 issue of
ESP, we thought it sounded like a winner. Keep in touch and let us know how it is doing.

Dear Ann:
One of our tenants just gave me a photocopy of an article from your magazine having to do
with conversion strategies for old, single-screen movie theaters.
I work for a property management company in downtown Pomona, which is 30 miles east of
downtown Los Angeles. There is a vintage 1931 Art Deco movie theater here, and in the
course of doing some research about what to do with it, I located three people who have
done some interesting theater restoration and conversion projects in Southern California.
If you would like more information, including names and phone numbers, contact me and I
will look them up for you.

Peter: When we were interviewing for the feature article Cinemas in the 21st
Century that appeared in the September 1999 issue of ESP, the experts told us that
whoever could figure out what to do with all the old theaters that are closing would be
this generations next millionaire. Hope its you! Ann ONeal, publisher
