CB Richard Ellis, Inc. is preleasing Piemonte at Ontario Center, a 309,280 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Haven Avenue, 4th Street and Milliken Avenue in Ontario, CA. The urban village offers a mix of residential, business, entertainment, sports, retail and restaurants, as well as a pedestrian-oriented, 24-hour urban community. The center will have 806 residences, 769 multi-family residences, 550,000 sq.ft. of Class-A corporate office space, a 45,000 sq.ft. health club/fitness center, an 8,000-seat sports and entertainment area and a 200-plus room high-end business/headquarters hotel and a restaurant. CB Richard Ellis, Inc. Las Vegas is preleasing East Village, a 960,000 sq.ft., multi-level development located at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road in Las Vegas, NV. The center is situated on a land area of 44 acres and will be developed to resemble New York City’s East Village, with cobblestone destination features, horse and carriage rides, sidewalk vendors and street performers. The property will contain entertainment, dining and shopping, with landmark areas such as Washington Square, Grand Central Public Market, the diamond district and Las Vegas’ only nightclub district. The center also will offer an assortment of fine dining restaurants, bistros, cafes, 24-hour diners, bars, nightclubs, coffee houses, bakeries, retailers, a culinary academy, dance studio, performing arts venue, day spa, fitness center, off-airport check-in and baggage drop-off center, state-of-the-art conference and banquet center and 260,000 sq.ft. of loft style offices. Opening is slated for 2007. The site has an average daily traffic count of 116,400 vehicles.

St. Joe Commercial is preleasing SouthWood Town Center, a 3,200-acre master-planned residential/retail community located at the intersection of Four Oaks Boulevard and Colleton Court in Tallahassee, FL. The center also will include office and multi-family opportunities within tree-lined streets and cobblestone walkways. Area demographics include a population of 61,873 within five miles earning $42,228 as the average household income. LNR Property Corp. is preleasing The Village Center, a two million sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Main Street and East-West Parkway in Weymouth, MA. The center is situated on a land area of 1,400 acres and includes 500,000 sq.ft. of retail, apartments, condominiums, townhouses, single-family homes and senior living facilities. The center also will include a village center and green, sports and recreation center, outdoor fields and courts, a fitness and wellness center, a public golf course, clubhouse and pro shop, a site for a combined K-through-8 school and civic and community spaces.

Connected Development Services is planning to develop Arlington Highlands, a 75-acre project located along Interstate 20, between Matlock Road and the proposed Center Street expansion, in Arlington, TX. The 900,000 sq.ft. development will be pedestrian-friendly, with a showplace central mall featuring a fountain, stream and footbridges. The center also will include upscale shops, restaurants, a theater and a specialty supermarket, along with 75 other retailers. Construction on the first phase, which is approximately 80% of the project, is slated to begin this fall and would expected to be completed within 10 months. The remaining 20% of the Highlands would follow six months later.

Horizon Group Properties, Inc. is developing Laredo Outlet Stores, a 330,000 sq.ft. center on two levels located on Interstate 35 in Laredo, TX. Opening is slated for Spring 2006. The center will be located at the foot of the only bridge that accommodates pedestrians as well as vehicles crossing between Mexico and the U.S. Tenants will include Anne Klein, Fossil, Nine West, OshKosh B’Gosh, Puma, Quiksilver, Samsonite, Skechers and Wilson’s Leather. The center is located adjacent to a new $30 million customs bridge, a four-block plaza and a major downtown redevelopment.
